1. Introduction

Ringatrade is an online platform that helps customers connect with local tradespeople across the UK. We provide an introduction service — matching people who need work done with tradespeople who offer relevant services in their area.

2. Platform Role

Ringatrade acts solely as an introduction and matching platform. We are not a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement made between a customer and a tradesperson. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or outcome of any work carried out
• Pricing, quotes, or payment disputes
• Contracts or agreements made between users and tradespeople
• Any loss or damage resulting from work arranged through this platform

3. User Responsibilities

When using Ringatrade, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your job request
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse or abuse the service in any way
• Communicate respectfully with tradespeople and Ringatrade staff

4. Tradesperson Responsibilities

Tradespeople using or listed through Ringatrade are independently responsible for:

• Holding appropriate licences, qualifications, and insurance
• The quality and safety of their work
• Their own pricing, quotes, and payment terms
• Complying with all relevant UK regulations and standards

Ringatrade does not vet, endorse, or guarantee any tradesperson listed or matched through the platform.

5. Payments & Quotes

Ringatrade does not process payments between customers and tradespeople, nor do we guarantee any pricing or quote unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing. All financial arrangements are made directly between the customer and the tradesperson.

6. Availability

Our ability to match job requests with suitable tradespeople depends on location, trade type, and availability. We cannot guarantee that a match will always be available in every area or for every trade.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Ringatrade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of this platform. Our total liability in connection with any matter arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Ringatrade, if any.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Changes to the Service

Ringatrade may update, improve, or change the platform and these terms from time to time. We will do our best to notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
